well, James, if you take the time to read what was written, HK implied that cargo is the reason delta’s financial performance was better than competitors. Please read the whole conversation before jumping in.

No, that is not what I said. We were discussing how long we thought the 75/76 would stay around given our forthcoming NEO deliveries. My point was the 75/76 be around much longer than most people think since their ability to haul C-A-R-G-O as well as full pax load and fuel, is significantly more than any mid size airbi 3xx series. We make money off C-A-R-G-O, significant amounts to not be scoffed at, and you verified that by telling us how much more United and American make hauling belly C-A-R-G-O.

Don't put words in my mouth.

define S-L-O-W-L-Y as used by the companies message stated above from investor call. You can't. That's why I said to not be surprised how long the 75/76 remain flying here.

this can’t be right, I was specifically told 2 days ago on this thread I was wrong for saying this.

We currently have about 100 757-200s and 60 a320s so 60 or more growth ( depending on how many 757s they park) and rest replacements if everything goes according to plan.

757-200 /300 (especially the 300) are going to be around for quite some time. Network loves the -300.

We've always known this. I was merely stating that the 75/76 will be around much longer than you think. It is absolute fact that performance wise (which includes payload) the mid size airbi is not a replacement for the 75/76. that is a fact.

that we are replacing airframes at DAL with these newer aircraft is true. the 75/76 are old. However they are going to be flying in Delta livery for sometime to come. Much longer than you think (see C-A-R-G-O capacity lacking in the airbi product - go argue with network if you don't believe me, they have an delta dot com email address - use it)

Also you forget to mention what I said about the 75-300. Network loves it, it will be flying for a long time here as well. The airbi tribe is quick to dismiss the 75/76. Fortunately for us and the company they'll be flying here and making money for quite some time. I've flown both. My fav is still the 75 for pure performance. I really like the 330 though too. Just a great airplane for what it does. Wish it had more C-A-R-G-O capacity though.

roll eyes all day long, those are the facts.

How could you possibly K-N-O-W what I or anyone else T-H-I-N-K-S? I haven’t seen any post that have a date of retirement for the 75/76.

There see how annoying spacing and dashing words is? Please stop.
