It's not about what I want or don't want something to do; I don't care.
I'm just stating the facts: when something like the 321NEO or 737MAX burns 10,000 pounds less on a transcon, the 757 will eventually never see those routes again except for the handful that require it's performance such as SNA-ATL/DTW (although a 220 or 319 could do this, too).
When there are eventually 155 321NEOs and [unfortunately] 100 737MAXs out there, combined with 127 321CEOs and 100+ 739s, the NEO/MAX stuff is very rarely going to do something like DTW-GRR or ATL-SAV. That's what the older stuff is for with the same seating capacity.

C-A-R-G-O you keep forgetting that. The 75/76 carry much more C-A-R-G-O than the 3xx series airbi or the 220 series. 75/76 fly transcons with belly full of C-A-R-G-O. Fresh fish, flowers whatever. airbi won't. they lack the lift. yes, they and the maxes are insanely efficient, but we make more $$ from the C-A-R-G-O which offsets. Our network people are pretty swift and nimble in that regard. the NEO D1 is pretty sweet if that is indeed what we are putting out there. It's a good offset and option from JB Mint cabin. still no espresso machine though. suffice to say I think we'll see a more 50/50 split on the transcons between the 76s and 3xx airbi. the 75 will still be doing the SNA stuff and the MEX as well. No other jet can make that work as well

Nothing I said is false, you can roll eyes all day, don't really care about it. What I said is fact.
I never said that. I said I see it as a 50/50, not an 80/20. 75/76 makes money from C-A-R-G-O that the airbi can't. Physically unable they just don't have the lift. That's a fact.
