I should caveat that I heard 8x daily A321NEOS and 4x Widebody flights daily, JFK-LAX. Obviously all just rumor until its out there doing it. Personally, I'm only interested in them if they are the short layover hotel so I can avoid LAX traffic and walk to In-N-Out.

I can believe it. 321neo will have a nicer D1 product than the 763 for the most premium domestic route. Doesn’t surprise me seeing 339/764 on some freqs still.

8 and 4 seems understandable. We will see how it shakes out but obviously those lie flats will be on longer haul.

I don’t necessarily agree it’s a better product than the retrofit newer D1 on an ER though. 321neos You’re climbing over the person next to you if you have a window lieflat, just like the 757 lie flats. On top of the service amenities a 76 has over a 321. Guess everyone is different. The newer retro ERs aren’t that bad. Just not pod with a little door/window like 330/350 has.

But does the fancy Nancy 321 have an espresso machine? Hmm? 🤔

It's not about what I want or don't want something to do; I don't care.

I'm just stating the facts: when something like the 321NEO or 737MAX burns 10,000 pounds less on a transcon, the 757 will eventually never see those routes again except for the handful that require it's performance such as SNA-ATL/DTW (although a 220 or 319 could do this, too).

When there are eventually 155 321NEOs and [unfortunately] 100 737MAXs out there, combined with 127 321CEOs and 100+ 739s, the NEO/MAX stuff is very rarely going to do something like DTW-GRR or ATL-SAV. That's what the older stuff is for with the same seating capacity.

Nope, should be 1-1 up front.

to me it looks like JetBlue’s planes they use across the Atlantic . 1-1 at an angle.

that would be nice. Hopefully they know the issues about doing side by side straight lie flats. I think the LATAM 350’s are like that too.
