Tomorrow is expected to be Boeing day for announcements.
If Delta announces during Paris, it will be Wednesday morning.
My sources say there are still details being worked out as of two weeks ago regarding engine overhaul rights and delivery slots, but the talks are/were very active. Sounds like not a matter of if, but when.
I also heard that Delta drags their feet on “board approval” and plays hard ball over 6 month delivery windows and by the time they come back, that window has moved to right by 12-18 months! It’s a seller’s market for sure.

Yes; however, no American carriers made a splash today because markets were closed in the US.

Thats probably a safe bet. They have said the A330 is the 767 replacement. Actually at one town hall they said A330 and A350. I dont think we are going to see a one for one replacement of the 767-300s, but rather a replacement of that capacity. A330 fleet will be around 80 frames when all current deliveries are taken and they've said the total 350 fleet will be in excess of 60 frames, so IF that plays out Id expect 61.

that’s not 100% accurate. The 767-300 does a bit of domestic hours. Those hours could be covered by single aisle planes thus meaning we would need fewer wb replacements to cover the international stuff. Not really going backwards on the pure international flying.

“A bit” is even a stretch when you consider many times it’s flying domestic to position to go international (CVG, RDU, PDX, MSP, SLC, etc).
