No mention of that either. Although the 787-8 is of similar size, it isnt optimized for the same missions as the 767 and supposedly even United has said that the costs are not any less than a 767. My guess is that our strategy will have to be to replace that capacity by up-gauging with more 330s.

The -9 and especially the -10 is very compelling. More space for premium seating with great CASM.

Boeing is going all out for an order. It will be interesting to see how it shakes out.
