I suspect the company has a bit of buyers remorse and might prefer it does not ratify. A delay will certainly work in their favor and AA or UAL might make it very lucrative to restart the process next fall.

You think the company doesn't want us to ratify the TA? Is this some weird reverse psychology?

I think they are at best neutral. A delay almost certainly benefits them and the fact they can pull the offer is very advantageous to them.
I suspect the mediator put the fear of god in them after EB’d very poorly thought out comments on our release and they panicked and let their checkbook get away from them.

Not even close, they would have us ratify this yesterday. It’s not every “negotiated” opportunity you get to dictate less than a billion dollar increase over more than 7 years.

Is this rumor stone cold dead or is there still some life to it? Maybe we could take the Latam order for 10 A350-900 we took and convert them to the A350-1000.

I imagine the company won’t be announcing any new aircraft orders (the 220s were options we had anyway) until after contract voting is complete to avoid the appearance of influencing voting
