Nice find. Thanks for sharing

2026 looks to be an exciting year for Delta Pilots:

MAX-10(maybe) in Q2
A350-1000 in 2H
14 more 321NEOs for NBA in Sept

Getting a new large widebody seems exciting to me, especially 20 + options of them. As I did the math not long ago, we could have 180+ top paying jets in the fleet in a few years. (We had 31 in 2019).

Eggactly. Although we are going into a lull period (compared to the last few years ex-COVID) lots to look forward to. Even with the lull period we got new iPad Pros with OLED displays arriving soon.

Other fleet news for 737 drivers: IAN is going away. LPV will be the new non precision standard. Apparently we are the only carrier that still uses IAN

IAN is cool, and the other carriers in the US just didn't pay for it, it isn't that they had it and gave it up. But if we can use LPV with the APP button then that is fine by me.

I was told at recurrent that the old LNAV/VNAV method would be the way.

The downside of IAN is the space shuttle-like approaches in hot weather, which lead to a high FOQA descent rate and long landing pings. LNAV/VNAV descent path is consistently normal.
