There was some discussion in the late 20-teens of using the trip 7 for this run. I guess Network deemed it to not be as profitable as they wanted. I agree, seems odd we don't have service to Japan from NYC. Maybe with the 350-10???? Who knows?

we could have probably gotten the JFK HND slot instead of AA, but we opted not to bid when we gave up PDX.

Hearing more and more that SEA will become a 350 base and the 330s possibly leave. Then recently heard 350s for Asia and 330s to Europe. With deliveries, how soon could this ball start rolling?

nobody has a clue if that’s even true. it’s all just rumor from people who don’t know.

I'm happy to answer with no basis in reality. I jokingly predicted LAX- AKL for 3 years, then it finally happened. Consider this the broken clock that is right twice a day and wrong every other minute.

SEA-Europe will become inside out trips from BOS to bury the credit from 5:15 ADG. SEA will get the A350 once the 35K deliveries start freeing up the NPS jets from JNB, SYD, CPT. SLC A350 trips will be covered in the same way as MSP-ICN.

Rest comfortably now that you have an answer despite any basis in fact

In my time here I’ve come to the conclusion that the people who know usually don’t know either.

Why do you guys not fly the 359 from west coast to HND? Seems like every flight from LAX/SEA on a 339 is incredibly full regardless

To add fuel to the fire, a recent flight ops post on workplace noted that the new SLC training center is getting an A350 sim instead of 330, and it was again confirmed in the comments.

A second A350? The first one was powered on a few days ago.
