See dude, you’re doing it again. You’re not helping yourself. Why did you have to go on about the baseball stuff?!
And I’m not calling you out for the motocross stuff. It’s not my thing, but I get it, it’s important to you and others on this forum seem to like it. It’s all the other claims that are getting old.
I find it interesting that your LinkedIn profile contains minutia like your Duolingo certificates and even your ATP written score. But not a single mention of a PhD…or masters. Nothing to indicate you were some sort of wonderkind as you try to project.
People like you, man. No need to impress them with all the nonsense. I’m sure there are people on here with actual PhDs and who are actual AAA baseball players. Let them tell their experiences if they want. We don’t need an almost-was perspective.

Wow, you are some kind of special aren't you? Pretty sure CX can post whatever he wants to here so long as it complies with the terms of the website and forum rules. No one gave you the hammer to determine what he can/can't/shouldn't post. If you don't like it, then ignore it. I for one like to read his stuff, I find it very interesting and my life seems pretty boring compared to what he's gone through and accomplished. You may disagree that this may not be an appropriately venue, but the mods don't seem to mind. Guess that tells you all you need to know right? I don't see it as bravdo or being a braggart. Just an interesting, smart dude with some interesting stories to tell and I find that refreshing here.

I’m sure there are a number of well rounded, interesting individuals here. But this dude plasters it all over to ensure everyone knows he is. But things aren’t adding up. I’ve met a few people like him over the years. They tell big stories where they are always the star. But nobody understands them…if someone would just listen. Just a sample from his last few posts:
This guy seemed so amazing, I had to look him up. Took about 3 minutes to figure out who he is with all the details he’s posted. His LinkedIn profile does not support what he claims here.

And for those who ask where did you have the time?
Here was my usual schedule:
0730 wake up
0800-1600 MWF classes
0800-1200 Tues/Thursday Lab.
1300-1600 Ride Dirtbikes.
1700-0100 CAD Design stuff at actual job
0200-0730 sleep
No girls. No partying. Only outside of work and school activity was dirtbikes. Age 16-22 was like this. I also went to school year round, no summers off, was still knocking out classes while doing internship/coop.
I burnt the candle at both ends HARD for 6 years. OCS was actually kind of a vacation but with an angry tour guide. I slept more there than I had in years.

Wow - I was just about to come to your defense until I read the "No girls. No partying." Ha - only kidding. You bring a lot to these forums and I would suspect some of your harsher critics might want to look in the mirror.
Keep bringing it!
OBTW - All this motorcross reminds me of my Junior year in College - we hit a pub on the way home for a shot of 151 and then went out and rode our dirtbikes. Banged up my ankle on my CR-250 (this was around 1985) . Yeah we were young and very foolish.

He gives off a very “assistant to the regional manager” vibe.

I thought it was pretty clear what I am “insinuating”. He exaggerates and offers stories with over the top details about how awesome he is. I just got tired of everyone fawning over him like he’s the most interesting guy at the party over his Dwight Schrute anecdotes.

Which is fitting because my wife is a nerd from an ivy league college (well Cornell, so technically Ivy anyways) who bears a resemblance to Miyam Balik who played his girlfriend on the show Big Bang Theory.
Motocross tie in. My wife met me at a race that I won.

There's a 1st place trophy from Central Village MX, my first win, when I was a 125 Youth Expert. Literally enough Motocross, Supercross and Arenacross trophies to fill a room. Picture of the first time I was on the podium in a pro race, granted a lower tier Arenacross. Total fluke, I think Buudy Antuinez and Denny Stephenson were as shocked as I was about me getting 3rd, and on a 4-stroke no less, back in the 90s. I had the 13th production YZ400F, and it was probably the first one raced in Arenacross.
What can I say, I was 19, fearless and willing to do crazy stuff on a dirtbike, while working on my Masters thesis at 19.
C’mon. Just, come…on…
This was a post in response to…nothing.
