I can assure you I meant nothing holy or helish in my comment, just a friendly discussion about airplanes. My point was simply that for an airplane engineered with automation at the forefront its odd that those 2 specific capabilities I mentioned were not chosen. Maybe I sounded "angry" with my "WTF" comment??? Just spit ballin...as I said still love the jet.

The thing I can't figure out is why we have to manually turn on the engine anti ice? The -ER has had auto anti-ice for decades. Maybe a proprietary thing?

They do have a full-sized keyboard in their tray table to type up the ASAPs. Very convenient.

  2. Push Managed Descent [now in ALT Constraint].

for those spectating, this is very much not approved and actively discouraged by training and standards
