The 321NEO issue paled in comparison to the MAX. Also that longwinded post you just made is from information that is over 4 years old. That software fix was made before Delta ever took delivery of a single frame.

Trolls gonna troll.
The A321 NEO is still CG restricted today. The last software change was in 2022. It looks like the CG limit will be permanent. The leftover sand bags from the Maddog are the final solution.

not seen sandbags. Have seen some people had seat changes closer up front on the random wide open flight. “Sandbags” brings up RJ memories and never seen one on the bus fleet.

Grasping at straws. No sand bags yet on any NEO flight for me. Do they have to distribute seating on open flights? Yes. Sand bags? No.

Maybe I’m just unlucky, but I’ve only been on the bus a few months and I’ve already seen sandbags twice on the NEO…..

I’ve only had sand on empty ferry legs

You are just making stuff up now and then tripling and quadrupling down.

I’ve only ever had aft ballast of a few hundred pounds on light flights with full F and C+. By all means, keep swinging; it’s fun watching you strike out.

The right thing to do is admit when you’re wrong, but you’ve never been one to do the right thing have you?

Me either.

I flew with more sand bags in 14 months on the Mad Dog then years on the Airbus

As a matter of fact, recently on a lightly loaded 757-200 my nonrev seat assignment was in the second to last row while the exit rows and half of comfort plus were wide open.

That Newton guy was really onto something, as it turns out. Airplanes all have their limits.

And sailings gonna sailing. Like the time he said Moak was responsible for more improvements to pilot contracts than Behncke himself, or some such jibberish.

I've regularly seen sandbags on NEO flights I've operated. And enough restrictive seating to rival the CRJ-200. It's clearly balance challenged.

Don’t know why everyone is piling on Sailing.

The NEO frequently has CG issues with light loads. I’ve seen as much as 3000lbs of sand. Nonrevs are frequently forced full aft to balance the jet.

I spoke with some reps from performance engineering during one of their recent weight audits in the CPO and the story was the aft center tank is causing the balance issue. Not great, but then again we all knew it wasn’t going to be a 757. And the fuel burns are significantly lower to carry nearly the same number of pax…so at least the bean counters are happy.
