Service to Germany is also in the cards.
Germany is a large financial hub in Europe (2nd largest after England) and there's a certain institution in Utah that has a lot of money.
I've heard both FRA and MUC mentioned. I know part of the agreement with the new terminal is that ICN would be flown by mainline Delta and not Korean, but that's worth nothing right this second.
Until 16L/34R is extended on the north side, there will not be a WB pilot base in SLC.

The flights are full to Europe. It only became a fuel stop issue for a very short period when it was really hot and the AD came out. Once that’s resolved I don’t see there being an issue. I don’t even think it had fuel stops this summer or some PO’s that would drive that assumption. The LHR departure also is a non factor too because it’s a late departure - even on those fuel stop days it didn’t have a problem.

I flew a lot of SLC to Europe flights. Weight was always a issue if the temp was above 25C. On the 330-200 we were restricted to as few as 180 passengers when it got much above 30C. We carried zero cargo in the summer. I never however did a fuel stop on the 200. The 900 with the restrictions was another story. The 767-300ER actually seemed to do better than the A330-200 in terms of payload.
I believe they said it should be resolved by Q1 of 2024 no? Potentially next summer will be the true test then - but I don’t think any fuel stops were done this summer.

So what does effect delivery slots? There are now several carriers who have made significant orders for the A350 ever since GH first "winked" about this alleged A350 order. How exactly do we get them on our timeline assuming we even order any?
