We did not get the humidifiers, because apparently they really don’t make that much difference. The air cycle machines on the plane are redesigned to preserve some humidity and the lower altitude of the cabin helps with the humidity issue as well. Everybody comments that your skin does not dry out nearly as much as it did on the whale and 777.

If you know cars, you can think of the jets this way:

Whale= like a Chevelle SS, bad to the bone. Burns a lot of fuel though. Gets attention.
777= like a Lexus, great design and detail but lacking a bit of excitement. Slightly dated in 2023.
350= like a Tesla S or X: Fast, different, efficient, but has its detractors.

350-1K = like a Tesla Cyberruck: We get them last year, wait this year, OK maybe next year, but I promise it will be awesome.

We'll get used ones when Airbus stops making them and replaces them with A370s .

The last I heard at previous base visits was them still waffling back and forth between the 339 or 359 for SLC. I get the impression that they really don't want to base the 350 there, but unless they can get authorization for packs off T/O, the 339 just won't have the performance to be profitable out of there; especially in the summer.

Nicely done there, but just know the Cubertruck unveil is coming up on November 30 so Ed or Glenn’s lips better get moving soon!

GH already moved his; thats how this whole "rumor" started. Between this order and the BOS pilot base Im no longer a believer of anything until it becomes a reality. Lesson learned.

They already sent an entire email with a bunch of colorful graphs about why there won’t be a Boston base but yet people still talk about that rumor lol

How many International departures do they have a day from SLC? Does it really warrant a Widebody base? It seems like it would be pretty easily accommodated from SEA/MSP 9 months per year and then sub in a 350 from LAX the other 3 months when performance is in question.
