So that’s a slip of a year since end of 2022 update.

It’s also 60-70% of tasks complete before flight testing can begin.

“ On the 737-10, Boeing is about 70% through a list of items the FAA has required before the agency grants type inspection authorization (TIA), the milestone which marks the start of flight testing for certification credit.”

Why you all have to be this way?? Didn't see post it anywhere. Max 10 is flying test profiles right now clearing out the laundry list of requirements FAA put on the jet and manufacturer (aka as "tasks"). So it is flight testing - right now. It will fly its certification flight(s) once the remainder of the tasks are completed and satisfy the mandates from the regulatory agency.

More not so good news on the PW 1100G (I believe that is the engine we put on our NEOs).

Seriously though. I just want one thread on APC that doesn’t raise my blood pressure.

Any updates on our 321Neo engines? Do they need the inspections?

I suspect Delta may have the ability to do the inspections in house which could limit issues compared to other airlines.

I’m curious how many of our NEOs are actually impacted by this. It says it only impacts engines built before Q3 2021 and we didn’t take delivery of our first NEO until Q2 2022. So hopefully our exposure is limited.

also if t does not appear to affect the A220 P&W engines, which is a huge relief. Although they still seem to be having issues

The dates listed are for when that part was manufactured not the actual build date of the engine. I have no idea the lead times for an engine build or when in the aircraft build they get installed on the aircraft but I suspect it effects some of our engines.

From what I understand Airbus is currently still delivering new airplanes that are going to be affected by this.

At velvet. Alluded to a 350-1000 order by year end. I’ll believe it when I see it.
