so it can take about 220k lbs of fuel before it takes a payload hit (obviously more if not at max zero fuel weight) I take it that would give it a pretty decent range before it had to sacrifice any payload.
I laugh at the fact you believe what Airbus publishes. They always over promise and WAY under deliver. Regardless, still waiting on that massive WB order everyone was discussing about a year now. If you believed what the usual suspects on here were posting that order was just around the corner. Again, I laugh. Been here too long. Seen it all before.

the weights I listed are the EASA certified weights. What numbers would you use?

Yep, should be a great addition to “our” fleet (read: in AF/KLM/VA liveries). 😂

Airlines order the lower MTOW models then try to push the limits. Most of the complaints about the 350 went away with the 280t variant. Even St.777 had to take payload hits out of JNB.

I believe we parked the Gulf Air aircraft well before covid. The newer aircraft went to Amazon and some to FedEx if recall.

Raising the maximum structural takeoff weight does not generally help at performance limited airports like Joberg.

if the MTOW bump came with a thrust increase it probably would. Not sure if that’s in the cards or not. Probably not.

I know where they came from. Again, Airbus has a long history of overpromising and under delivering. Fact that EASA certified it doesn't mean a thing. Look what the FAA did with the Max.
