This post is so ignorant it’s comical. Just better to let the kool-aid man have his own kool-aid. Why people still converse and listen to you is so beyond my understanding.

Anyways…

ER fleet is here, now in full strength and isn't going anywhere any time soon
I would happily retire the ER fleet if delta would order airplanes. But since we don’t seem to have any urgency to order anything, it’s time to start facing the grim reality that these ER’s will be flying 2030 and beyond. Oh well. I enjoy the globe while Trip pursues a 4th floor career and pride of flying the 737. Different strokes for different folks.

Yeah, so is LAX-SLC every once in a while. What's your point? This is moving NEOs around so they can put them on long stage TRANSCON or near TRANSCON flights. I'll bet that same ship is flying SFO-BOS or SFO-JFK that same day. As we get more NEOs you'll see less of it...

OBTW, 0 NEO flights between LAX-SFO yesterday, today and tomorrow.

It might be slightly delayed because of supply chain and labor issue but those planes are coming. Prepare yourself.

I agree 100% that the ER Fleet is not going away anytime soon, especially with the need to serve SNA, SJO, STT, SXM etc markets.

I’ve personally flown more than one 4-leg day trips all in NEOs on that route. Weird way to reposition airplanes

Except that we already have the first ~30 of them and there's half a dozen getting paint and engines put on right now. They're a little behind schedule, sure -- but what isn't.

Does Boeing have any history of over promising and under delivering?

There weren't any issues with the 787 or the 737MAX, right?
