Geez, was that necessary? What short hops is the NEO flying, except for repositioning legs?? I think the shortest NEO flight I have flown is JFK - SLC....Why the hate anyway? Are we not allowed to be excited about some upcoming flying that we've never had before on the fleet?

The 320 guys and their constant need to talk about how to network the airline is hilarious. Then they close the door and realize they are flying their Neo LAX-SLC grumbling under their breath how they should be flying to Dublin and Keflavik, not that cheap ass 767!!!

Point is - time to move on! You guys hold onto the 7ER guys thoughts so much that you don’t even realize that you are turning into the same annoying pilots as them. Just flying an airbus.
Did you read what you quoted? The point was, it’s good the NEO matched the pay rate because it’s going to be a lot of planes doing that flying and not for less money than a 75. I didn’t see a single 320 pilot directing network on how to use the airframes in that post.

The next bit was about a jumpseater complaining. It resembles your complaints about 320 pilots. I don’t know if you’ve got a mouthful of sour grapes or what, but why pick a fight with a whole subsection of the pilot group?

We deal with with the 4th floors decisions, and having more planes at a higher rate should be the goal for the entire group.

You can’t act like neo guys on this forum are not out picking fights then play the reverse uno- what I can’t be excited to fly my airplane? I was talking to trip specifically. The Atlanta star kid of the forum. I don’t hate the neo at all and I could care less what it does. Like I’ve said 100 times on this forum - networking is not something to get excited about as it’s fluid and changes so much.

I was obviously talking about the whole conversation in my response and not just what I quoted. You’re right I’m happy about the pay rates. There was more to what I said than just that. Like the weekly neo vs 757 route structure arguments as if anything even sticks here with networking. I am lost how I’m the sour grapes of the conversation but this is generally how every neo vs 757 argument ends, so not surprised really.

It’s really not that deep. the post I literally responded to was sour grapes and I’m asking what the JS complained about.

Must have taken it personally for some odd reason. The demise of the 7ER (excluding NYC) flying has been painful for many. Some even retired early because if it

The folks that bid NYC 7ER hit the lottery for a year or two. The flying there will be spectacular as the 7ER is flex fleet for inevitable aircraft delivery delays

And there will be more short hops. Flying that was on ATRs and/or CRJ200s noy too long ago will have a 757 coming to town. ATL-BHM 757 service coming soon. Everyone says the 757 is a blast to fly. Good news, there will be alot of opportunities for hand flying that powerful jet

Airbus has a long storied history of over promising and under delivering. Until they are at the gates in Delta paint those "on order" jets are just that - on order. That includes Max

ER fleet is here, now in full strength and isn't going anywhere any time soon
