Ummm, yes, we can. The attacks in Israel by Hamas. I'm not a poli sci or military guy, but in the past this sort of thing could escalate rapidly. How's the PPB doing today?

I believe it was a micro-base that was supporting NRT and TLV for a while before we axed JFK-NRT
Supposedly it was coming back in 2020, too, to support BOM/ICN/TLV
I imagine we would need those three destinations from JFK to be in place before we would ever see the 350 in JFK

Actually, it started out in 2008 as a "micro-base" for the new (back then) 777-LR to do JFK-BOM. That was it. After a few months, Delta pulled that route down to ATL (16 hours over, 18 back) and there was zero flying out of JFK despite the NYC777 category remaining. All trips started/finished out of ATL and there were no short calls. It was a pretty good deal while it lasted. Then they added some NRT and TLV back into JFK before closing the base and moving it to DTW.

It’s about time. You 737 guys have been coddled long enough. You guys can have FAR in the winter and we will take UVF. We will give you BIL and BIS, in exchange for AUA and SXM. Actually I think the 757 does AUA so we will settle for STT or SKB. 🤣

Unless it’s a route that psychically can’t be done by anything else. I.e - A350

Yea 757 is SXM, AUA and STT. Which STT/SXM are turns and they suck. at least when I’ve done then and see them in my bid packages. So be careful what you wish for…

Haha. I don’t think the 757 will be on AUA for much longer as the 739/MAX and 321CEO/NEO can do the route for significantly less cost. STT will be 757 til the plane retires due to performance requirements
