I've got some commas and periods if you need them.

So the original 100 firm 100 option mega 787 order...looks like this is just firming 50 of the options. So its now 150 firm, 50 options. Also added 60 321neos. They'll have more than us now (180 vs 155).

loos like UAL added 50 more 787 options (so 150 orders, 100 options) and 40 321 options also.

This decision paralysis over “the best deal” just seems to cost more. 2022 was the sweet spot, since then both the 787 and 350 have seen a boom of orders, leverage has changed.

Ive already seen a noticeable improvement in trip quality in September since everything was implemented. Layovers over 12-14 hours have been the exception in the last several years, and now I’m seeing longer layovers are much more common like I remember them a decade ago. Same for extreme duty periods. Yes, EDP pay is nice when working a long day, but anecdotally I’ve also seen less of them in September than in recent memory.

As for the 350, we do have a full delivery schedule for the next 2+ years that will max our training capacity. Any order realistically can’t even be absorbed into our training pipeline until well into 2026.

Another data point - Emirates order, just announced this week, has deliveries start in August of 2024.

Deliveries at Delta in 2026 seems perfectly realistic if we announce this fall.
Well said, the NMA was the frontrunner until COVID hit and the Boeing had a few other issues to put it on the back burner. If the economy stays put, the Company will be ready to announce. If the economy tanks, an order really won't be needed and we could see another flex fleet hit the parking pad -- or any iteration between both extremes. Our new scope does nothing but help us going forward, whether expanding or contracting.

Exactly, meaning, 7 piece-o-crap 739’s from EastBumbleJet Airlines. Due to need for extensive Delta overhaul, these planes are expected to hit the line by Q3 2027.

…and Trip7 raises his glass in celebration!
