I sure hope not. And yes, I’m a commuter. There’s nothing I’d be willing to concede to keep it. If the company can’t see it for its own value to them, a win-win if you will, then just let it die. It’s getting more and more difficult to use with the fare class restrictions they have put on it any how.

There are no fare class restrictions. If there is a seat available and you can't book, open up Pilot Assist, type, "I need to book PS to work on DL### xxx to YYY on whatever date" and it's done

That is indeed true but has only become necessary recently (i.e. the last few months). Is that strictly because of the increase in bookings or that they block any seat that isn’t in the middle?

Supposedly you can only book company business on E class fares, which is a discount Y class. They only release so many and with demand so high, they aren't releasing many if any. They also say they aren't going to reprogram company business booking just for us

I hope our union doesn’t fight at all for this.
It’s all on the company. We should give up absolutely zero to keep it

Ha. If they attempted any kind of reprogramming like that the Commodore 64 running delta IT would melt.

Let the FAs do the heavy lifting for once. I hope the union says nothing and lets the company worry about it.

Same here. No desire to concede anything at all for this.

How would other airlines getting it change things? Rumor about SWA pushing for a “must-ride” policy for commuters.
