Everything is bad on this forum! We have had a remarkable operating performance this month and not a peep. Down to single digit cancels per day the last week and reroutes down 75% yet not a word here. I honestly think many of the posters on here were disappointed we did not melt down on the 4th.

Not everyone.
Night and day difference; I don’t know if it was the cancellations, the bad press, the picketing, or canceling the flight of a very well known Cabinet secretary, but whatever prompted the decision to draw down fights seems to have massively improved cancellation numbers.
Thank goodness. Even my eighty year old parents were asking what the heck was going on at Delta.
(Rolling thunder enjoyers hardest hit).

Man, all I wanted to do was post some good news that there’s a nice ULH destination coming and that’s bad!
We’ve added 4 739, 1 339, and possibly a chunk more 220/737s. Remember two years ago when it was UNA time? I do. I’m just happy things are steadying and we’re making some optimistic moves.

Of course people are going to be (and should be) up in arms about PREVENTABLE, SELF-INDUCED buffoonery. Management literally caused the entire disastrous past 6 weeks through deliberate, conscious decisions.
You think we should be cheering them when the folly of their decision-making finally penetrates their skulls and they are forced to rein in their incredible shortsightedness?
And nobody here wants the company/operation to fail, but when leadership deliberately plays blind and deaf to the warnings/warning signs, people stop caring what happens, and a, “Let em fail, maybe they’ll finally figure it out” attitude can become prevalent. People want Delta to succeed, but when they’re ignored and mistreated and abused, they stop caring. It doesn’t take a genius to understand that, but it does take a sycophantic bootlicker to NOT understand that.
What really doesn’t help are management toadies ignoring reality and carrying water for our 4th floor mismanagers and trying to claim that stranding thousands of passengers and cancelling thousands of flights really just doesn’t matter.
