Anybody’s category go this week from absolute-flaming-hot-mess to most stable it’s been in months? It feels that way here in ATL 73N B. I’m going to have to rethink my reserve X day pattern if something doesn’t crump in the next 48 hours.

The operation is stabilizing rapidly. Surprisingly, July 4th weekend wasn't a complete disaster as expected. Probably a combination of schedule cuts and NH FOs making it out onto the line

Even 5 trips with zero availability in base are being chopped up and flown by reserves shuttled in from other bases. Or picked up as white slips because the choppy-choppy trips are really, really easy.
Not so great if you're angling for an easy 3 day trip but max pickup is 14.5 hours.
Still, a VAST improvement.

Yeah, ATL 320 B as well. Suddenly my rolling thunder is looking very unlikely. Might be a rough back half of the month.

You can get out of it. I got out my PTP days, Crew Resources are the people who did changed it. Try filling out a Smartsheet on the CR page, then when a few days go by and it hasn't disappeared, call the CPO and ask them to message CR and get it removed because you didn't ask for it. They'll say, "we can't change it" and my reply was, "I'm not asking >you< you change it, I'm asking to tell CR to change it". Eventually, it got changed in the middle of the bid window and I was able to bid for the month correctly.

The single biggest factor in going from "flaming hot mess to stable" is due to pulling down some of the schedule. There is no doubt that hiring and training are contributing, but nowhere near as fast as pulling down 7-10% of the schedule in July. ....that's the equivalent of 5-7 months or more of hiring and training at 200/month
