I spoke with a VP the other day. Regarding some news, they did mention an SLC WB category is on the horizon; the problem is Network Planning. They won't commit to a 2-year term on which aircraft. From what he said, the 330 had performance issues in SLC, and they couldn't get planning to agree to 350s. As of now, it's on the radar, but nothing is imminent.

The 7ER was mentioned. The 767 will be retired by 2030, and the 757 will stay until a replacement is available. We will start seeing more 767s and 330s moving east and 350s moving west.

They seem to be very happy with the Airbus product and how easy it is to transition to dif aircraft. They have a project going on right now with a short course from 320 to 350 and backward if you want. They seem pleased with the results. The Boeing product does not offer that flexibility. The question was asked about a Boeing WB order, and now they are not exploring any Boeing WB products.

Unfortunately, but on the flip side... once you learn Airbus, you will learn Airbus. Airbus to Airbus is why they shortened the course. You don't need a whole month to learn the interface of the 330 and/or the 350 when coming from the 320 or going the other way. This will also decrease the seat lock in theory, could create more movement.

They tried a short course for 330 to 350 training. It did not work out well and had a bunch of events added over time.

They are in the approval process now. I guess they fixed whatever issues they had. Some of the sim schedules show the ongoing trials.

White-slipped a charter 2-day in Nov and 3 or 4 days later the trip NOOP'd. Still on my schedule that it NOOP'd but not on my time card. I still should get paid for that right? Do I still have recovery obligations ?

As a Regular Pilot you are pay protected. Pay will show back up when the rotation shows closed.

As to a recovery obligation, look in iCrew>Current Schedule>Ok>Display Reserve Call Status Inflammation. If you do not have a 6-hour window showing, you are off the hook.

I'm loving the flexibility possibilities of the proposed program. Tired of 350 destinations? Spend a week on Va Ave and go fly the 330 with only a 9 month seat lock. Need a break from Intl? Just a week on Va Ave then go be senior on the 320 and fly domestic for a bit. Go enjoy some Caribbean sunshine flying the 321NEO into the islands or get NBA teams thru their roadtrips on a charter. Again only a 9 month seat lock. Delta really is about to stand for Don't Ever Leave The Airbus
