Not complicated if they do it appropriately, you list for
the JS and check in with that PNR. AA shows who’s primary, secondary JSeater are, also who’s a RJ pilot and OAL.

I guess you’ve never been in a oversold flight that suddenly every buddy pass made it and you get stuck upfront after working all day. No way to know if if there’s seats until last minute, then if you relist
you're going to the back of the list regardless of your seniority date.

But I guess you’re in the, “we always done it this way” camp.

Another pet peeve is when Jr FAs that are Jseating take the open seat without checking Seniority Date with the front Jumpseaters, just because.

This is not true. It's literally how every other airline but us does it.
