I think listing 24 hour prior for DOH also makes sense for S3 or S2 priority. If you roll to another flight on the same listing you keep the DOH.

As we have “normalized” this isn’t true anymore, extremely fleet dependent, and that you can’t control based of how lucky you were in the SNN last 4 lotto and what was available for drop.

Swaps out of base are not a thing. There was a time when I thought it should be. However, seeing how that could be abused (effectively eliminating base catagories) I decided it would do more harm than good.

Unless you are brand new, and involuntarily in a category that requires you to commute to reserve…continue rest of rant as previously published :-)

I, same as the rest of us, was once brand new. I commuted to reserve and still managed to get home to “see my wife”.

I can’t believe I’m taking up the “they’ll be senior someday” platform, but somebody has to do the new guy stuff.

12 months is correct always. 6 months is correct a lot.

The only way to fly an out of base trips is via OOB WS/GS for same/next/second day coverage.
