Default Listeria outbreak in DTW

Passengers still aren’t being catered at all in DTW due to this

I'm still waiting for them to do the old refresh on the 737-800s.

Yuck. Not a fan of the black, at all. Where has that ever been in our "color palette"? Wonder how many $B's they are spending on this?

Hopefully, someone actually thought about the overhead bins this time... I suspect our premium flyers care much more about that than the color of the seats.

So glad we've got a couple hundered new/almost-new 321's and WB's in the legacy colors to replace. Only delta would nearly complete a new aircraft purchase plan right before refurbishing the cabins across the board.

"Most screens of any airline"...unless you're on a 717 for the 3 hour leg from CLT to MSP. On the plus side our internet is terrible, so you go that going for you, which is nice lol.

I skipped all the fluff about the new design and went straight to the installation plans, just to see which fleet would be retired next. Adios 757.

But switching to Starlink would be so much worse, because everything United does is inferior and DL management is completely infallible.

It's not just the 717s, I was in the back of a 757 last week that still had the tiny tv screens (remember Song?) which didn't work except for the Flight Tracker, and even though the WiFi blue lights were on, next to the seatbelt light, the Wi-Fi didn't work either!

Remember, these are the same clowns who spent over $10 Million per 777 (all 18 of them) to add the new (then) lie flat D1 Suites and new Internet, only to park the fleet a year later and sell them off to Air India and the LRs went to a cargo carrier who then ripped out the new $10 million interiors!

Ed's brother in law must own the cabin refurbishing company, got to hide his millions somewhere!

From what I can tell they used a single 757 as the initial test plane for the retrofit. I haven’t seen anything to indicate they are en-mass starting with the 757 fleet. It seems like whatever fleets are getting the retrofit will all be going slowly at once as planes cycle through heavy mx.

I'm surprised they have the 717 on that flight and not a 220/320/737. Is that the longest route on the 717?
