Well, if that's your response, you have officially lost the argument. Maybe a little willingness to understand why memrat is so important, and why we need a check and balance for the MEC would be in order.
I'm just curious, were you on the property here for the 2020 SIL fiasco or the 23M7 settlment?

thanks, buddy. You do realize Delta has been taking money from pilots without notice from so-called "overpayments" going back months or years, violating several states' laws in the process, right? It's called wage theft.

But thanks for carrying your former employer's water, even in retirment.

I didn’t say or imply it wasn’t their right. Guess I should have added that they ended up working the flight after some conversation.

My reference to ignoring company requests at the table until pay/compliance issues are resolved pertains to right now, outside of section 6 negotiations. We are under no obligation to negotiate currently.
The RLA trumps state law and requires disputes to be settled in arbitration. The issues has gone through the courts many times. You can't sue the company for anything considered a minor dispute which this absolutely would be classified.

And only 1 month for concur expenses 🙄. I heard the company was stopped from going back and recouping pay greater than 6 months ago because of state law. So we got that going for us...which is nice.

Again, Delta is not exempt from state law. Stealing large amounts of back pay, with no advance notice, in large lump sums (the PB day fiasco) violates multiple states’ laws. The RLA does not reduce the company’s exposure to liability for wage theft. It simply prevents ALPA from suing for every contractual interpretation disagreement, which many recent issues are not.

Go enjoy retirement.

can you explain the batch size thing? I’m not DAL, but I’ve heard of this before. Always curious what it means and what happened.
