Well, it sounds like DH has talked a majority of the MEC into sending the negotiators in to try to get some sort of LOA to help solve the company's problems next time there is an IROP. And that would mean...giving mgmt more contract relief. so there's that.

Yes, absolutley need to tread water until DH, C44, C20, and C81 are gone. I can only imagine what kind of "settlements" are next after the 23M7/batch size captiulation.

To be fair, it’s one guy in C81 and he’s in the middle of another recall.

You might want to take a look at how C66 voted though.

What would be the point of an LOA about IROPs if the company already doesn't honor the PWA when we're in a meltdown?

Who says they're going? They've got close to a majority of votes/roll call to ram through whatever they want. MEC elections this autumn before their terms are all up.

If the mec is stupid enough to pass something like this they'll be stupid enough to vote to bypass memrat by any means necessary.

They will absolutely cave on something while DH, DA, and the rest of the 23M7 buffoons still have a vote

Then everyone needs to write reps stating in the strongest terms that if any such LOA rumors are true that it must go to memrat. Even if you think it won't help.

I will say this again, explain. You can just lob something in like that and not give any explanation . Especially if you are already a known hater of C44 and all.
