Any "Latest & Greatest about Delta?" Part 2

Ridiculous. I'm sure there are plenty of stories like this but I'd be intersted in seeing the stories that started this thing. I'm not defending it at all, but I'd have to imagine something started the ball rolling. Unless it's NYC CPO that started it, then all bets are off lol. Either way, hopefully it gets addressed by the union.
They're not. I was being kind by calling it sketchy.

If you want to see what the CPO has on you...
Commuters who are concerned about their "permanent record" being besmirched may find section 18 E of the PWA interesting.
"A pilot will be furnished with copies of all items placed in their file pertaining to them that may be of a critical nature. They will be given the opportunity to acknowledge receipt and to make a responsive statement. Such responsive statement will be placed in the pilot’s personnel file. A pilot may also file a grievance challenging any such item in their file. Items within their file that a pilot is not given an opportunity to acknowledge may not be used against them in an investigation or discipline/discharge case."
"Upon reasonable advance request and during normal office hours, a pilot will be allowed to review any Company files pertaining to them and/or be provided all information in such files including, but not limited to:
a. their personnel file, and
b. records maintained in accordance with FARs."

RRPY on Timecard
Just had my first reroute pay. Timecard shows 17:44 of RRPY in the section with my trips/vacation but shows 00:00 in the reroute pay section below where the other pay is all grouped. Does it usually show up this way?

The only time I’ve ever seen reroute pay in the reroute section is when getting rerouted into days off.

I have zero knowledge of this event. I will say however that when I would hear about something like this in the past it almost always turned out there was a lot of history from prior events before action was taken by the company. I do concede that we get a occasional rogue CP or base manager. I experienced that once with a base manager in NY but the CP fixed the problem instantly when I chatted with him about it. In over 35 years with Delta I had exactly two bad CP's. One was in NYC about 3 years ago. He got booted back to the line.

If the company can't anticipate a divert, this is by definition an unforeseen circumstance. Full Stop. Putting a pilot in a 'tracker' in such a circumstance is totally unacceptable. It is clearly part of a broader 'initiative' by someone in the company (doubtful it's the lone CPO - maybe the RD?). And that's a problem.
