Dude is not our friend.
and he can do quite a lot, it turns out…and most of it is screwing us over while claiming to be helping us. Great if you had a “good experience.” But the pilot group in general suffers daily from his decisions. Then when he does what he’s supposed to, what WE NEGOTIATED, he takes a bow.
needs to be removed from flight ops yesterday.

I think you are unfamiliar with his role within flight ops. He is a yes man to his bosses. And a “no” man when it comes to pilot qol issues.

He routinely "renegotiates" the contract as he sees fit. He's set a precedent within flight ops of deeming what is and isn't acceptable for DH seat assignments and often tells pilots they have not been harmed when, in fact, they have. He also sits at the table with a company special project pilot to talk to the union about contract compliance. To say he doesn't have "that kind of power" completely ignores reality.

JZ is everything wrong with the company embodied in a single human. Example: as the uniform rollout dumpster fire was raging, people asked him how it could be this bad. He responded that his team worked so hard at this and worked a lot of long days leading up to it. Many, he said, basically didn't get to see their families for a week! The horror! He said this, with a straight face, to pilots

Not sure why anyone bothers to deal with DH issues via Skyhub. After I was unsuccessful in my interaction with the gate agent I went to ALPA, who has added my case to their current grievance.

which doesn’t explain why DH FAs have recently been getting upgraded to C+ before Dh pilots.
he helps with layover hotels? You may want to ask the hotel committee about that.
And I notice you didn’t say he “helps with training hotels.” I bet that clown has never stepped foot in one of those gross Sonesta Select bathrooms.
And if he has and still makes us stay there, he can **** right off.
he is not here to help pilots. He is here to help Delta.

Just wait until he uses the "fix" he gave you on SkyHub as evidence that the pilot has been made whole for a violation and no compensation is due. Sure he is responsive, but his actions are purposefully designed to minimize company exposure, nothing more.

“on it quick?” If there is a dh issue on skyhub, it’s too late to fix. He’s the guy who said “trust the automation.”

Honest question. No snark.
