no matter how short the aqp training is i gaurantee if you are one of the people who go through the test program, its going to be longer than they say it is, as they work out the kinks, which is normal.

Hah! I had not thought of that. AQP short course could just be an equivalent to 2 long courses in practice.

SAS plane in ATL. Heard a rumor we are losing CPH and ARN next summer to SAS. Any truth to this rumor? I thought DL is supposed to fly at least 50% of the routes with a JV

It’s not by route.

Delta Global Flying will be compared to Partner Global Flying. Delta’s share of Global Flying can be no less than the previously established 2019 ratio.

That's a misunderstanding of previous scope agreements. All DL is required to do with a JV partner is fly at minimum 4x weekly flights to the JV country. JV partners can take over nearly all of the flying between their country and the US. We then need to operate our WBs elsewhere (to include SA, Trans-Atlantic/Pacific, including all US-Hawaii).

So yeah, if we JV SAS.. expect the majority Norway/Sweden/Denmark on SAS. Meanwhile we will add more 767s frequency on Merica-HNL or finally restore China flying and it makes up for the loss of ARN & CPH.
