Oh no!! If the 320 trips are becoming commutable what’s the next thing the 320 peeps are going to bit€h about???
😜

Ps, not directed specifically at you.

And yes I think this is a good thing!

I'll take a swing at the next gripe

People will start *****ing from other bases as they already have on here about the early NYC reports and the pickup tines.

I’ve had pickup times before 4am in a few outstations headed to ATL. Why would I care if I have to do that in NY?

id rather have an early pickup mid trip than at the beginning of a trip.

With all report times 1000 or later guess what happens with reserve utilization? If you are on reserve you will now be available to cover ANY open rotation on the very first day of your reserve block.

Previously, with lots of early starts, you were off the hook for many trips because of the morning start, the trip wouldn’t fit in your block of days. Additionally, other reserves could get them as green slips instead if they wanted.

Net result will probably be more people filling up of reserve (fewer unused reserve days) and fewer people either rolling thunder or enjoying long call at home because company couldn’t assign that early start. More work, same pay.

There’s also no one or two day trips. Call it b!t€hing if you want, but for those who want 1-2 days this sucks. Seems like the pendulum swung too far in a different direction. Why is a mix of both styles of rotations too much to ask?

Exactly. And while I'm no fan of mad early reports, its WAY easier to do them from a hotel than from home, especially if you have much of a drive.

If your have a late show/early release it means you have a PM to AM swap so you either have a short overnight of one day is very unproductive. So there is 2 things to complain about
