As of today, on Facebook , that scheduling committee rep says he was wrong and it isn’t just a rogue manager. It’s much bigger than that.

FYI, the MEC regular meeting is going on this week, in NYC.

why wouldn’t they? Our union has shown they will just negotiate the company into compliance with no quid.

IMO our 23m7 grievance “resolution” set a horrible precedent by showing our union’s willingness to roll over to management

OOPS

Thanks, I thought it was after Memorial Day. Too many company, fleet and other bulletins rattling around my head. I'm old, I lose track

Well, again, hopefully we get some communications about this soon.

For those of us not on the book of face, can you cut and paste the post?

I’m not sure how appropriate that would be, but the paraphrase is:

The scheduling committee thought it was resolved and briefed the MEC as much. However the true story is that this is beyond just a single rogue scheduler and they are working the problem. Their position is that this is unacceptable and violates years of practice as well as unambiguous language in the contract and SRH.

I understand. And thanks for the paraphrase. You're a reliable source here for sure.

This is what I was hearing as well, I just wasn't sure how widespread the information has become. If what I am hearing is true, it is a very egregious move by the company on this matter. Again, I don't know why they've decided to make this sudden tack on us.

Wait, wait I know! We can negotiate PB days away in return for…..batch sizes

Agree with your post in all seriousness.

Absolutely. Disdain for the pilot group is nothing new within management.

What IS relatively new (within the past year), is the wide open opportunity that DALPA has created for them. They’re sharks sensing blood in the water.
