Exactly why I don’t bother tuning in.

Is it the same manager, who it always seems to be?

Feel free to PM me.

I emailed my reps and they said they're aware and it will be discussed at the next meeting.

What do they mean by fixed?! At this point I'm not sure if that means what we are expecting. To ME that is pay promptly returned to the wronged pilots and PBs returned to pilots it was removed from and this practice halted immediately.

One more reason to take copious screen shots.

That's the only acceptable solution to me as well. Delta is losing ANY goodwill they ever had with pilots rapidly.

Yet most pilots are still wearing hats and standing around unpaid for 15 minutes at the end of every flight, saying goodbye to all 200+ people, because “That’s what Delta hired us to do.”

Fly safely from A to B, and nothing more. Just like all of our industry peers.

This is a great job that pays really well. Delta is probably the best pilot job in the world. I truly can’t think of any pilot job that is better. We have our flaws, but trying to shame your fellow pilots for doing their jobs as written in the FOM is uncalled for.

I’m 100 percent against what the company is doing, but not wearing your hat isn’t going to fix it.

If you guys really work at this you can be just like UAL and AA. I think in two or three years you can drive the yields down below both of them. That will teach management a lesson! Get the other employees onboard with always due the minimum and you might even get Delta back into Chapter 11! Huge win!

That didn’t take long.

We’re paid the same as AAL and UAL pilots, with a little extra profit sharing on top (for now) thanks to ancillary revenue sources. We’re now treated by management as poorly as AAL treats its pilots. But keep telling yourself that.

Nobody, including LCA/management pilots, follows every word in every section of the FOM on every flight. The obsession with the hat, above all else, is an odd facet of our culture.

We’re an oligopoly at this point with a nearly homogenous product. Have you seen the service on a flight staffed by newer Delta FAs lately, and compared it to the same experience at AA and UA?

It’s comical that you believe pilots not wearing hats will drive our yields below theirs.
