Several unconfirmed reports of a jetski accident along with the Hotel not having the tools necessary for the Doctor trying to save him. Tragic situation

Damn, dude. Delete this. Give his family some privacy instead of running with unconfirmed reports. If there was a security problem, I'm sure we'd be at the airport hotel lickety split

It's been all over the different Facebook pages as well, I think at this point it's too late for that.

There have been several people who have shared what happened as second hand reports. I do think sharing that the doctors didn't the the right tools is too far as that is not opinion than fact. However, if I was the family, I'd MUCH to prefer everyone know the basic of what happened versus rampant speculation regarding other things that could happen in Mex.

and I'm one of them. When my AME suggested that my career was over I went to Dr Faulkner. He was optimistic, gave me a road map on what I needed done, and got me flying again. I've used him ever since.

There can be issues with return to work, but they are extremely rare. You continue to be paid while under review (transition to or continuation of disability if applicable). Once you return to work you are made whole for alv, and sick leave used back to when you first presented your medical certificate. This can include a referral from the DHS to a company medical examiner, then a pilot medical examiner, and a neutral medical examiner.
Edit: Found the applicable contract section. Looks like I am due a nice chunk of change!
Thanks

No matter what anyone's experience or opinion's are, the office is an unnecessary step in return to work. He may advocate and fight for our return all he wants but as long as he can have ANY say in returning even after a pilot has their medical, that office IS NOT beneficial to the pilot group. I had my medical back and had to wait several weeks for Dr. F's office to give the okay. Why?
