Did you check your time card? I got a similar email, checked my time card and it was all there. Actually 1 min more.

it would be nice if they could see if it was actually complied with before they send it out but it’s definitely a step in the right direction.

Yes, I checked my time card no RR pay. I’m not sure I was entitled to RR pay though. Schedule change was operating flight 1234 to DH flight 1234 same date, time, city pair.
I until yesterday I was under the impression that wasn’t a RR. After the email, I quickly looked through the SRH and didn’t my situation listed. Maybe I was wrong and the automated ACE is correct. I’ll find out soon enough.

It is a reroute.. In fact, it's explicitly laid out under the standby rotation scheduling alert (that the company has to approve before sending)..

I had the same situation, although the leg went from dh to operate. After filing an ACE report, the union agreed it was a 23.L.4.a violation but the company sees it otherwise. The status of the report is now listed as “impasse”. Yet another example of not a violation until the arbitrator says it is. I asked how I should proceed and was told there was a grievance settlement in the works. I’m not holding my breath, and am bingo good will due to the adversarial attitude encountered any time something like this comes up.

Not on Facebook but I got one of those last night so I can say it’s turned on.

What is the timeframe of these new automated reroute emails? How long ago was the reroute in question? Asking because I'm curious if they're working from last year (when the new reroute pay took affect) and closing in on more recent reroutes.

Mine was from this January.

Yo the other responders: thanks for the info. ACE said I should get an update in a few weeks. I’ll post what happens.

Mine was also from January - the RR was paid correctly.

As someone else said this is a good first step. Looks like they’re grinding through old rotations manually (my guess only) but don’t yet have visibility on all things DBMS, like the time card.

Got bit by that change fee 8 or so years ago on a trip to Bangkok & Anghor Wat.

BTW have a Mai Tai for me in Hawaii. You ever been to the Brewseum in Honolulu? I guy and his wife dressed in WWII uniform had war museum next door and would give tours on Fri night(maybe SAt too) It was free they relly got into it with a fun way to drink beer while they acted as docents. Not sure the museum portion is still open
Missed your post, fishing to much! There is no change fee now. They even state if you want to make a leg change cancel the entire reservation and rebook. I am booked on a open jaw trip and had no issues.

So does the new “Sick Year” start on June 1, 2024…….or on the first day of the June bid period (June2)?
