You are absolutely out of your mind. Did none of you read the Chairman’s Letter? We had thousands of open ACE Reports and as I understand it, SK wanted to grow the already bloated Scheduling Committee even more… They replaced him. Now we’re almost down to real-time processing. Coincidence? No. I’ll be eligible to vote by the next election and if SK is running I’m a hard “NO” on that.

Also, you don't get to vote on MEC chairman regardless of your membership status.

Speaking of scheduling, did anybody else notice the Facebook post showing an *automatic* ACE notification of PWA violation? That looks absolutely incredible. Is that feature turned on? And if this is thanks to SK, he’s got my vote down the road.

Growing the scheduling committee would have been the correct approach to reducing the backlog.

Removing ARCOS batch sizes was a major factor in fewer ace reports.

As part of that, DH wanted to just be rid of the cue, and ordered SK to email over the raw ACE reports in their entirety, which often include some… “colorful” characterizations and language, in order to just dump them on the company without being processed/sanitized. SK refused, knowing pilots might face disciplinary measures from what/how they ranted. DH laughed, and said “I don’t care, send them over”. SK refused again, and was fired.
Now, all of a sudden, DH is the champion of the Scheduling committee, even ‘approving’ an all-hands month of FPL for all volunteers, taking credit for reducing the cue??? Irony at its finest.
SK is a pilot advocate among pilot advocates. He has done more for this pilot group than any other ALPA person in a decade, at least.
Facts.

SK did grow the scheduling committee to tackle the enormous workload of violations the ACE app uncovered/enabled grieving. Our illustrious MEC Chair DH absolutely lost his mind at how much $$$ was being spent on FPL on the scheduling committee, and wanted to chop the budget and volunteers.

I got an auto-note today about a RR I had months ago. Said I should have gotten at least X RRPY and my timecard shows within a minute of that. Not seeing the point of clogging up the que with that, unless there's more behind the scenes.

I got an email about an automated ace report today too. 2 hours potentially for a RR.
