The same way you would, by listening.

I reread DWC CAP10 USAF's post about a former NWA CA that he flew with years ago ... and I have to admit I didn't read anything that lead you to deduce what the former NWA's CA thoughts might have been on that particular subject. You're definitely better at this than I am.

July 1st, Tenn. has passed a bill that forbids aerial pollution. You guys coming from the North into ATL make sure your chem switches are off or you are in big trouble in Nashville.( First offense penalty is having to watch the Lady Vols play Vanderbilt.)

Ah, but you didn't re-read my post eh? Pay attention to the first word. I'll ask this: do you hear any pilots complain about the government paying people money that they don't think should recieve the money? Because I sure do quite a bit.

Are you up on your history of sick leave between the 2 carriers..... DL and NWA?

Don't want to be condesending if you alredy are familiar. If you are.....I think there-in lies the answer re the NW pilot and his view of sick leave.

BTW...can you define sick leave abuse please? Seems nobody wants to tackle the definition fromt he pilots perspective.

So, if I call in sick because my spouse needs a non threatening hospital procedure with an overnight stay required and there a young children at home, it would be sick leave abuse to call in sick, so that I could take care of the young-uns?

I mean, I'm not sick....so that would be abuse, right? DuH!

So, you familiar with the history of sick leave as it pertains to the 2 carriers prior to the merger?

Looking at PBS calendar for May…shows PVPP prior to my primary leave. If I bid reserve next month, should I assume those are 2 of my X days? Don’t remember asking for them, but maybe I did
