Building a kinder fluff cubicle can help but it doesn't truly protect you from the bad UV so says my dermatologist. So yeah, LS, sunscreen, SPF 50 sleeves, and my cool fishing gloves are all there to protect me for the few years I have left flying up there in greater UV exposure land. Oh yeah, good sunglasses too. Those UVs will zap your eyes as well.

So not ALL of us are wearing LS becasue of tattos or whatever. It's not weird, only in your mind maybe. This guy had more issues thatn just the fact he was wearing LS shirt and a woven belt.
That’s absolutely fair. Didn’t intend to insinuate there were not any valid reasons to wear long sleeve, just that it’s the distinct minority. There was a fantastic LCA (now retired) in NY on the -400 from Puerto Rico who did one of my OE trips who wore long sleeves for (I believe) the same reason.

If not, someone could have a great false advertising lawsuit on their hands. Kinder fluff website says:

The Only Certified Sunshade to Block 99.79% UVA & 99.95% UVB

Has anyone else noticed iCrew doing some weird stuff? Using the EFB as well. Things like when you look at Daily Trip Coverage and click on a rotation quite a few rotations will say NO ROT FOR DATE or some such message. At first I thought maybe the trip NOOPd or somehow got swapped/moved? But I've seen it on a bunch of trips lately. Also if you click on the last rotation in the list it takes you to the next page of Daily Trip Coverage instead of viewing the rotation.

Anyone else seeing this stuff? Maybe I just need to clear my cache?

I'm seeing this in iCrew. I've noticed this error for trips in the coverage report for next bid period. If you click on a trip in coverage that is current bid period it seems to work.

You can plug next months trip into PREGLIGHT->ROTATION to get the info as a workaround to Delta IT incompetence

Don't worry, Delta has a plan to get icrew up to the standards of the year 2000, and they've have that upgrade complete by 2035...

Funny, I thought this is exactly what Delta wanted, more pilot to passenger interaction. Standing in the cabin for PAs was encouraged as well as shaking hands with the uppercrusters, leaving notes on cards, and creating tiktok moments with trading cards. They got exactly what they asked for "viral exposure."

indeed. Funny thing about viruses, we are inundated by them everyday, 99% go unnoticed, many are actually beneficial to us. But, the ones that we do notice, well they have been known to do some real damage now haven't they.

careful what you wish for I guess, just might start a virtual pandemic ..lol

I'll trust my dermatologist on this one thank you. And I did not say they didn't help. Pretty sure UV at 37000 ft is about more intense than that you receive on the surface (other than Mt Everest)

Did the website say where they conducted their tests?

It's not a glitch. It's a feature.
And yes, I'm seeing the same issue.
