Lol, not likely. I have to admit I'm jealous of the SWA pilots with thier softshell jacket. But barring a significant change like that (which they will never do), it just seems kinda dumb and a colossal waste of money to have made the 'updates' to the pilot uniform which they did. It was barely a perceptable change, other than adding the SB optoin (which I hate, btw. But that's me).

-make hat only required during jacket season
-add jeans to approved wear during training/ jumpseating
-allow facial hair as part of uniform
-allow facial hair during training/ jumpseating
-add north face jacket to approved uniform wear.
-allow visible tattoos
-allow longer hair
and I’m sure there are plenty of other examples of changes that could be made that don’t change the uniform itself

as much as I’d love to see us start over on uniforms, I agree they probably are not changing them twice in a short time. But there are a lot of general updates we could make that don’t require a new uniform. Just off the top of my head we could change any of the following
-make hat optional
-make hat only required during jacket season
-add jeans to approved wear during training/ jumpseating
-allow facial hair as part of uniform
-allow facial hair during training/ jumpseating
-add north face jacket to approved uniform wear.

-allow longer hair
