tbh you’d be stupid to check out early.

I get your point, and I agree. but we max out at 5 weeks of vacation and 270 hours of sick time.

IMHO, the people who don't want age 67 are really shortsighted.. You have no idea what life will throw your way you in the upcoming years ( or maybe it already has) … Sick child? Wife gets cancer? Car accident?… or any other type of savings draining financial hardship, Etc. Having the OPTION to work longer IF YOU HAVE to is priceless. I don't have the data offhand, but I'm sure quite a bit stayed past 60 but how many of those made it to 65? Most of people I talk to all want to tap out about 62 or 63 so if it does go to 67 how many more people that small amount will stay that long? I think it's a small negligible amount. The seniority progression argument with a small percentage of people who will stay that long is also negligible. I certainly don't plan on staying that late, but I will if I HAVE to because of some unforeseen event.

I agree it would be stupid to check out early. I wanted the schedule you described from 58-60, then 63-65, now it's looking like 65-67. If the "senior schedule" becomes a game of Survivor, some of us will just hit our number and give up making it an even bigger win for the endurance careers.

Unless you really don't like the job or you don't have seniority to be super senior in any category(unlikely) makes no sense to check out early. Give all your trips away and pick up when you want or keep a few of the good ones. On the 73 you can fly Caribbean turns 6 times a month and take still take home a nice paycheck vs 0 with early retirement

White slipping question for the crowd. I generally am happy with my awarded schedule, so I don't change my schedule much. This month, what I would have normally bid for just wasn't available in the bid package, and was shifted to other bases. I've identified the trips in other bases I'd like, but I'm having trouble putting them in iCrew. There are several trips that operate on multiple days, so I'd like to put it in to pick up any of them that show up during the PCS run, but I don't care what day. It looks like iCrew only allows for 16 preference options, and each one only allows one rotation, on one day. Is there a way to consolidate that and tell PCS to pick up a trip number without having to put in a preference for each and every day?

If they're out of base, it will be a proffer that will go through arcos. Just put in an open OOBWS request and add a few qualifiers that will ensure you get called for those trips, while maybe avoiding other nusiance calls.
