Oh no. Junior won't make ER Captain after a year any more because some of the guys who took 15 years to hold that get 2 more years in the seat and can actually still hold a medical. What a rip off.
Oh no, the guy who upgraded to Captain in ATL in 2 years may have to sit on reserve 2 extra years because the guy who couldn't even hold 88 Captain in ATL for 10 years gets 2 more years if he can hold a medical. What a tragedy. So unfair.

you seem to like to liken the stagnation with new hire captains. Well riddle me this: how bout #5000 captain midrange seniority on a NB who’s movement will absolutely be stagnated when you guys aren’t allowed to fly intl anymore and get forced to a NB, or those senior on the NB that now won’t retire.
Many of those midrange guys that were already slowed by age 65 and are now seeing some movement. You gonna tell me they won’t see any stagnation? Again?!?

When you write like this it shows all your motives. Obviously you want 2 more years for yourself, I can’t blame you there. But this post also shows that you want to “punish” someone else, which will somehow make right, the wrongs you’ve encountered. Even though the person to receive the “punishment” is innocent from your previous slight. Two wrongs clearly makes age 67 right

Delta retired the 727 in April 2003, 19 months after 9/11. So, tell us more about how you got “furloughed for years after 9/11 then had to plumb a 727”.
