When you write like this it shows all your motives. Obviously you want 2 more years for yourself, I can’t blame you there. But this post also shows that you want to “punish” someone else, which will somehow make right, the wrongs you’ve encountered. Even though the person to receive the “punishment” is innocent from your previous slight. Two wrongs clearly makes age 67 right

No worse that those of us who got furloughed for years after 9/11 then had to plumb a 727. That's the way this industry is. If they weren't ready for that then I can't help them.

I don't want to punish anyone. I just refuse to feel sorry for someone who might have to endure the same things airline pilots have been enduring since the dawn of the industry. But something something generation that thinks they're special and unique and deserve better treatment than everyone else got, and how dare you tell them that's not true.

Delta retired the 727 in April 2003, 19 months after 9/11. So, tell us more about how you got “furloughed for years after 9/11 then had to plumb a 727”.

Tell us again how much you struggled. How was the F15? Bet tricare is better than our insurance. Must be nice to have that check of the month to float the down years of this industry. Bet the steak at the O club was great.

All you focus on is the “new hire” captains. How about think of how it’ll affect the mid to senior NB guys. Who also experienced a lot of the same crap as you. But that’s not your narrative, so you ignore it
