Any "Latest & Greatest about Delta?" Part 2

Thats no longer entirely true. With EDP, if you’ve had a 10 hour duty period, that clock is ticking 1 for one over and above.

Anyone else seeing iCrew as even more jacked up than normal? Fucntion buttons overlapping, and all I get whne i click on rotation on the daily coverage page is "invalid date." This is across multiple operating systems/machines.

Seems to be "working" as usual. Using Safari.

I'm all about soft pay, but I'll say that rates would do A LOT more for me than EDP/sit pay. Rotations on my fleet haven't really changed with the new contract and EDP/sit pay has paid me less than 15 minutes. Even more of a reason the 717 should have been banded with the 220.

I can't count on two hands the number of times I've been waiting for an arrival gate and someone in the cockpit will comment about how many dollars their adding to their pay per minute. I give a slightly confused congratulatory "hmph" thinking 75% of trips are built from a trip rig with credit and aren't paying actual block. I don't think it's earning an extra penny, but I've heard it enough times now that I'm starting to think maybe I've been wrong for years. No need to quote me the rigs, I have 'em down. But, Am I Crazy or are they?
On a NB fleet, the bulk of my trips have been 'hard time' with the caveat that the MCD has driven a lot of my 4 days that used to be a straight 21 hour 4x ADG trip become more because the MCD plus the three fly days (usually 2 days of 2 long domestic legs into a 25-33 hour layover to a redeye) drives actual block plus the 2:30 MCD to 21-23 hours. This one was barely over 21 only because it was a SLC to JFK redeye vs a SAN/LAX to JFK Redeye.
From my last trip
2.30MCD 0.00TRP 0.00DPA 0.00ADG
REGULAR--21.33TL 17.48TBL 1.15TBMU 0.00TDHD 0.00TDMU
13.30TDC 6.00DPM 0.00DPA 20.52TRP 21.00ADG
0.00HOL 0.00CARVE 0.00SIT 1.02EDP
Original trip was 0:40 EDP and 21:11 total.
Day 2 we were in a long line departing MCO for SLC, due to weather driven in trail spacing and crazy headwinds to boot. The extra 22 minutes paid us 44 minutes total as it was a "hard time" trip plus the EDP being driven up 22 minutes.
In the case of that leg driving block up and EDP up, I was getting $10.87 a minute for all the beyond origional scheduled on that day. And yes, after all that we sat for 10 minutes waiting on a gate crew. So yes. It is true.
This isn't a special case. Most of my rotations have days that will pay more, sometimes far more, if it is taking longer.
CARVE pay? For 000-0200 releases.
I've probably been paid 30 hours since that started when we were scheduled for a 2320 block in, and LGA ramp congestion kept us out until 2331 or later.
Yes. Trips on most NB fleets (ER included) do often pay well above ADG or TRP.

Slight add on here, in my experience, the EDP and SIT pay does not live update until after the trip closes. Block/MU/DHD do.

I was going to start the banding fight again. But I see crew has mentioned it. Yeah we left the ER (767-300ER) and the 220/717/737 guys behind. I'd really like to know why? Why didn't DALPA push for banding the totality of NB fleets to the 757 rate across the board? Curious. Anyway, back to your scheduled programming.

An extra $75-$100 and hour on rates would do more though. To include your vacation, training etc. Based on what I'm reading on here, the NB rotations are still mostly hot garbage. Again, GH was grinning after he left RDU.

but wait, that means the rotations wouldn’t have improved.
