I think everyone, including retirees, should be paid full retro PLUS interest. We need to disincentivize dragging out future contracts. And really it's only fair. We've been working under an expired (amenable) contract.

100% as the union put out today. Were almost at contract 2023, time to start negotiating for 2023 with 2019 improvements. Pay up Delta!just like you paid up for your investments in foreign airlines/ stock buy buy backs. There is no amount of Laughter nore Gumm that will deter us on our quest for the best contract

Wait, so do we retire or not? If the first quote is true, the second can't be true...

Have you updated your bids in the last 6 months? The pop-up I received said, "records show you haven't updated your bids in 6 months."

Default Reserve X day sanity check

Trying to figure out X days in June - 30 days, ALV 80:00 hours, 3 days for CQ. No extra X day. With 27 days available I calculate 11 X days from the table but the John Bell calculator spits out 12. If it comes to me or the calculator, experience tells me to trust the calculator .

What am I missing? Is it 11 or 12 days? Not a big deal but I might put an all or nothing in there.

Thanks

I’d go with John Bell’s number. CQ is not days of availability-reducing (since it’s paid Delta work) in the same way a PLOA or MLOA might be. My hunch is the math behind the adjustment for CQ brings you down in the X day table as though the ALV and reserve guarantee were in the lower half and not the upper.

I'm sure if you took a poll you'd get 95% agreement, but when/if TA1 comes out and has very juicy raises and otherwise is a good deal minus the full retro, you'll be surprised how quickly it'll become an afterthought.

Company knows who is and is not voting for this mythical future contract. Signing bonuses capture more excitement of the voters than retro does especially as the months/years roll on and new hires populate the scene and retirees fade into memories.

This just in…

I’m in the middle of a 30 day stretch in ATL. Just ran into some Top Men and can confirm we should have a new contract sometime in the next 3 years. I’ll let y’all no if I can squeeze any more juicy details outta them.
