Yea, MPJ I hear you. But, funny thing is.....I once flew with a FO who had a wife with a spending problem and he lamented that he could never get any extra time. I told him I had some techniques and he was all ears. I proceeded to buy the beers and spend a couple of hours Swap board, swap a 3 day for a 9 day, blow though all ALV+15 governors, blind swaps, broken trips, DH's, on, and on, and on. All my greatest tips and tricks. At the end of it, his comment was not, "Thanks".... not, "Thanks for the beers"...but,.... "That sounds like too much trouble"

This type of thing happened more than once. Never underestimate some peoples unwillingness to learn, internalize lessons/input or be curious about things that can materially affect their life.

Something about a horse and water comes to mind. But I do understand your concern even though it was somewhat tongue in cheek

He said he spent about an hour inputting it while watching his kids watch a movie. His logic was 1 hour of "pain" to input for a month of superb trips.
I'll send you a PM for further guidance so you don't have to give away the magic as publicly!

So for example if you’re on reserve from the 15th-18th can you request a “blind swap” to drop reserve days and pick up a trip? Or does it only work if you have a line?

I flew with an older CA once who complained about the trips and the days of work. I asked if he'd ever bad day, worse day swap. He literally always just flew his awarded line. He hadn't. I tried explaining it to him but he changed the subject within a minute.

So same story as mine but....

There are people on both sides, but I'm glad you got that off your chest, and I apologize if me stating it was a FO that you felt threatened. That was not my intent

I feel properly chastised.

When you’re looking to drop your month and put in all the mega swaps, do you list all trips for drop on PCS on one line, or individual drops for each?

Well a newer FO at least has an excuse (being new) to not he familiar with bad day/worse day.. but an older (assuming senior but could be wrong) captain really has no excuse.

My point was that he's been around for 25+ years and only flew his crappy awarded schedule. And didn't know or care to know how to improve it. I could have said senior but it wouldn't have necessarily applied

Drops are only the top line. So you can only put them on top. Note: you CAN list more than 3 trips. Just hit right at the bottom.

Hopefully I won't be that junior again!
