**Freely admit this is a bit of rant**
Called in fatigued recently and it took over an hour and 9 calls to the duty pilot before someone finally picked up the phone. Tried going through dispatch to see if the dispatcher could physically walk over to the duty pilot cubicle and help but was told he was overwhelmed with people calling in fatigued…..
This is unsat. I get it’s a thankless job with high stress but they’re our first point of contact when things go south and the only point of contact approved to call in fatigued with. Also not the first time it’s happened, in January it took over 2 hours to get a hold of one. If the company insists on running redline they need to hire more duty pilots. It’s weird telling my crew the flight will probably cancel but the wheels can’t start turning until someone in Mecca finally decides to pick up.

since but looking at June pairings on the 320 in ATL many look downright brutal to a clock just AS SCHEDULED. When you start to say “well I’ll nap on that DH” as a mitigation strategy it’s not a good start.

When they have to keep cancelling flights and have thousands of p!ssed of customers who they have to reimburse all because tracking didn't get the memo, maybe they will finally change their ways.

Two questions - Did anyone figure out how to reply without quoting and deleting since the "Reply" button has disappeared? A few of us Mods are scratching our heads on this one.
Second - I am trying to be diligent and study the powerpoint slides for CQ but I can't seem to get them onto my IPAD. They save as blanks. If anyone knows how to save these powerpoint slides I am open to suggestions.
Thanks Scoop

This happened to me about this time last year while on a simple GS that turned into a RR that just wasn’t going to work. Saw it at 2am when awoken by CNO for a 6am push. After tossing and turning I knew I was one and done (original trip). I called CS and said I’m not going beyond the original trip. Told “call after first leg”. Fine. Did the leg, called DP. No answer. Left message, called scheds, told I left the msg and I’m going home. No fight. Haven’t called in

but wrt to number 2:
You can download Office for the iPad. Then tap “Viewing” and “Open in Office”. It will then load into Office for iPad. In the 3 dots menu, there is an option for “Make Available Offline” for you.

Yep, it's a mobile issue. The mobile structure was updated a couple weeks back. The one good thing about it is the mobile site now allows you to Bold/Italic/underline with a menu bar now.

I’ve tried searching the forums for this basic question but am coming up short. I understand white slips are added flying without premium, and green slips have premium. Am I correct in understanding that you list that you want a slip, and the company calls you to offer when an opportunity comes up? Presumably in seniority order?
If so, is there any form of open time board at all, or method to add flying (with or without premium) in real time, or is the entire system just based on phone calls in seniority order?
