A line holder should definitely get paid the full value of the rotation, even if they call in well before the rotation ends. It's all right on page 160 of the Scheduling Handbook, with examples.

The peak for Northwest was in 1996. Northwest hired 454. Delta only hired 122. So a total of 575.

As long as it arrives after 2AM ish (exact time eludes me) then it’s a 3 day. ICrew will often show it as a 2 day but the credit will reflect a 3 day.
