A line holder should definitely get paid the full value of the rotation, even if they call in well before the rotation ends. It's all right on page 160 of the Scheduling Handbook, with examples.

Contact scheduling, and if they don't fix it contact a chief pilot. Then file an FCR and an ACE if they don't get it fixed.

Thanks all for the help. Called back and actually talked to a supervisor instead of them asking and got it taken care of. Full pay for the whole trip was restored. Keep an eye out on those timecards…

I think an ACE and FCR should be filed anyway. Making up new rules on the spot is not something we should tolerate or condone!

Scoop
In that year, 1997, Northwest hired 333. Delta hired 1,027. So a total of 1,360. That was the highest for both, combined.

The peak for Northwest was in 1996. Northwest hired 454. Delta only hired 122. So a total of 575.

Scroll on the extreme right edge of the screen, and it will work. Known bug.

PBS question:

Does a rotation that ends in a redeye include that redeye as a day? IOW if you leave on a Saturday and block-in on a Monday is it a 2-day or a 3-day?

As long as it arrives after 2AM ish (exact time eludes me) then it’s a 3 day. ICrew will often show it as a 2 day but the credit will reflect a 3 day.

You have to block in 0130 or later so that your release is 0200 or later
