If you have time between flights you can wait to buy the Zed tickets. Otherwise they are refundable but the ID90 site is terrible and buggy. It seems to work better on a computer over a mobile device. If I’m not going to have time or don’t want to fight the ID90 site in a pinch I do buy ahead of time. Checking in might complicate a refund so I would wait to checkin but I’m not totally sure about that. You can try to check loads in StaffTraveler for American. Not sure how active American is on there.

Checking in won’t affect the refundability. #beentheredonethat

Unlike most other airlines that I’ve done a ZED with, AA won’t let you check in with your PNR once you purchase the ZEDs. Even their gate agents don’t seem to know why. Just take the PNR to the gate agent and they will get you squared away. Hope you enjoy not having any seatback screens too….

Since we are on the offline non revenue topic…can we nonrev on KLM for international flights like we can on DAL? Or do we have to buy a ZED fare ticket?

thanks for the info

Default C2019 implementation timeline

Apologies if this lives somewhere easy to find... if the contract passes, is there a digestible timeline for when these improvements / changes will occur (especially the scheduling and pay item changes) and will the rules (like SC pay changes, etc) backdate to 1 Jan 2023 for back pay, or just the hourly rates?

There's an implementation schedule at the end of the contract

Is there a date for that lump sum for the last couple years to be paid out?

Not sure where ”in writing” it is but on the engage podcast they said it had to be paid within 30 days.
