So if it got damaged in company shipping, can we expense a new one (once we have a contract)? GENIUS!!

Heh.

Speaking of Concur, anyone else using it more than usual for expensing transportation?

There’s several stations in particular where SkyHop isn’t really a livery service anymore but really just a 3rd party “let me call you a Lyft” service. Welcome to the Department of Redundancy Department.

(I personally decline Lyft if I’m literally just standing next to a cab. Then..Concur)

I think calling a Lyft has become everyone's default. I had crew accommodations admit they didn't schedule a van at BWI for us and just called 2 Lyfts when I called to figure out. 2 pilots and 4 FAs after midnight. I bet it's easier and maybe cheaper than maintaining a van fleet and hiring and training drivers.

I can think of a lot of things that are easier and cheaper than being contractually compliant. If the company is going to lean on joe bag of donuts driving his 15th continuous hour in his mom’s Ford Escort while stoned on who knows what…we should probably have a talk about that.

I agree, In fact I told accommodations we would decide when the driver arrived whether or not we were going to go with them. I asked every crew member to give an honest opinion on the transportation before they got in and said I'd arrange alternate, alternate transportation if they weren't satisfied. We went. Seems the younger employees are much more comfortable with this being a norm. I use it occasionally but as I would a cab. Some people use it as a regular transportation and don't own vehicles, there's definitely varied comfort levels in a crew of 6. We all went but chose who would ride with each car. Accommodations wanted to split it FAs and pilots.

Is anyone else having problems logging into Navblue? I get the message that bidding doesn’t open until 6pm, but then I get the message “user data not available”.
I should just wait 2 hours and try again, but I’m impatient.
