I didn’t want to start a new thread but I think this is the best place for this question. Is the hiring happening now for growth or is it still to replace the pilots who took the VEOP? I’m a few months in at brown and have been thinking about throwing my hat in at DL in hopes they call. DL has always been my first choice but brown called first. There’s a lot of great things about this place. I’m a rare one that enjoys the night flying, and the pilot group/union is awesome but I’m not sure I want to do cargo for the rest of my career as well as a few other UPS quirks that maybe the next contract fixes. Just wondering if I missed the wave. A few months ago widget seniority showed me retiring around 15% if I went to 65.

Probably both - I think we are close to even on VEOP folks leaving and recent hires. I will tell you that you can retire at 15% and have a great career.
At that number you will probably be middle to junior WB Captain by today’s numbers- who know what that will hold in the future as the fleet changes.
That would you very senior in all other seats.
Good luck!

unless you live at/near a DL base. Then I would strongly consider coming to DL
